ok i installed guild wars an when i play it looks like theres a super laggy
and like my dude glass armor Zzz can some1 help me fix this problem i just
installed new direct x an it still is like this

What are the specs on your computer? Type it nicely so I can comprehend what you are saying faster.

Its your Video Card/Chip.

The "glass armor" is a common graphical error that happens when your graphics card cant render the animation.

EDIT IN: Go to your Device manager, or back to System Info and go to components and then display drivers/cards.

Or you can get a new awesome graphics card

I suggest the Nvidia GT 6600 or the ATI 9600
Both of them are pretty good buys

BUt if you can give us the numbers for that card. You seemed to give us the name and no specs.

EDIT IN: I run GW on a $30 card. My computer itself only cost $150 lol. Those specs you gave for your computer are better than mine.

well they wont let me take it back i forgot about that omg i just wasted 50 bucks

could a virus affect it? cuz we have 1 but it doesnt semm to do anything to the computer but make the anti virus annoy me with pop ups

It really isnt that big of a deal. seriously video cards you can find for pretty cheap. buy a nvidia video card and if you ever need to just get on their website and you can download updates. and yes a virus can affect your cpu. even if it doesnt seem to do alot at first, some viruses can look like it is doing one thing but actually doing another. so that virus you have can be eating the hell out of your cpu and you wouldnt even no. but i would bet it is probably just your video card. just buy a cheap nvidia and update from their site.

well you could convince her to stop smoking seeing as she will die from it, and then she will buy you a new video card because she is so thankfull that you saved her life. or you can wait until the cigarretes kill her and buy a new video card with the insurance money. I hate cigarretes or any other type of smoking. I have had 3 grandparents killed because of it and i dont want anyone else to go through that.
